Sorry for the delay in posting but since going back to school I have been super busy and I'm just trying to get back into the swing of things. So here is a super quick outfit!

Last First Day

 So tomorrow is my last first day of school ( yes I got that from Ice Princess). I can't believe that I only have one last year of school to get through and then it is hopefully off to uni for me! I also can't believe that I have had seven full weeks off. They have gone in so quickly and it feels like only yesterday that I was going on a cruise at the beginning of the summer.
So the back to school shopping is done and the homework isn't but that's pretty much how it has worked for the past six years so no point in breaking tradition now. I'm also working the next two weekends so its going to be a while before I actually get a proper break, on the plus side I start tomorrow with two free periods!

This is an outfit I wore last night to a party. My friends and I organised a surprise birthday party for one of our other friends and we had a really good night. We hired a hall and a DJ and basically just went all out. It feels like forever since I had a Saturday night out so I ordered this dress from eBay and had fun dressing up a bit for once. However despite having a good night the next morning was not fun. We had a bottle ridden sticky hall to clean...with headaches. So half way through cleaning the hall we treated ourselves to a full English breakfast at the little cafe next door!

I would just quickly like to mention something that I discovered and which annoyed me. A fashion blogger has been copying and pasting this comment on to numerous blogs to get more followers:

"I recently stumbled across your blog and I LOVE it! I love the layout to the content and everything in between! Your style is just impeccable and your blog is simply the epitome of perfection! I think it defeats the purpose of blogging and it shows that she clearly shows no interest in what people are taking the time to write or is even taking an interest in the photos people are posting! Sorry rant over :P

Big White Envelope

Today was the day so many Scottish teenagers have been dreading...result day. Thousands of big white envelopes fell onto door mats and were quickly grabbed up by pupils eager but scared to find out how their exams had gone. Hands shaking they opened their envelope and scanned the page that confronted them. Proud parents looking over their shoulders trying to make sense of the jumble of letters as they either smiled at their achievements or looked sad at their failures. So yeah it might not have been quite as dramtic as that but it sure felt like it at the time! So after we had all waited on our post my friends and I headed out for cake and a coffee to celebrate/ drown our sorrows depending on what we had received that morning.
My results were slightly better than expected but we shall leave it at that and forget about the whole horrible ordeal.
